Schweeeeet! Just saw a new X5 3.0D Sport in Stirling..

Looked exact spec to the one I have on order for the summer/autumn. Estoril Blue, 19" rims, titanium kidney gills. I kid you not from 30 paces I thought it was a 4.8is.. and it took getting a lot closer to realise it was a 3.0D. Looks superb in Estoril, better even that the old 4.6is as the face-lift really works. Alloys look darn close to the old 4.6 tho not sure if they are the same..11" wide at the rear..

Either it was an import or it's one of the first off the line as the Estoril paint had only been approved as an option (outside Individual) for this year. You couldn't actually select it as an option last year.

Was getting fed up waiting and had lost interest after finding out we couldn't have the 3l twin turbo diesel. But having seen one I just want it now now now...

I wonder if opted the grills as they are only supposed to be for the V8 models..?

I'm hoping to get my 3.0D Sport in the next three weeks in Sterling, but alarm bells have sounded over the diesle fuel pump problems.  although mine has left the factory, it may have to be recalled to have it's pump changed!!

Not happy with Mr Bosch!!

Just got my new X5 diesel SE. No sport, really comfy on the terrible roads in the highlands. Wheels only 17" so the extra rubber helps as well. Taking it easy the first miles.

Kallahari beige, aux heating (great), heated stearing wheel & seats, xenons. And more.

Just bought the boot tray sorter thing so the shopping bags is under control and some rubber mats (light beige and dirty footwear does'nt combine very well)

TomTom Go navigation just tried out, great smart thing and in 3D.

See pic's

Unless you're a Motorway muncher (like me) the SE really is the best way to go. I know the nearest my Sport will get to off road wil be the Royal Highland show at Ingliston.

Very nice m8.. be sure to give a write up as to how it pulls along with the new spec output.

Why oh why wont they offer the TT 3.0D though..?
