I'm thinking of buying this car. It has done 25,000 miles backed up by MOTs & service history. I owner, 1 driver, always garaged, silver/ blue cloth. It is in as new condition to look at. No rust, no dings, everything works, never in an accident. Does anyone know what is a realistic price? What goes wrong w/ these? Are they hard to sell on? Any advice, stories knowledge welcome.

Also try the E32 forum on www.thee32register.co.uk They may have someone with some experience of this model.

Neil it's an early 7, say e23 model, very robust cars, and if looked after should go on for a LLOOOONNNGGGGGG time. Good cars, not as desirable as an e32 or later models, but excellent all the same. 25k on the clock and in mint condition, theoretically you'd think it'd be worth quite a bit, but £3k tops is what appears to be the going rate for low mileage good e23's. Electrical gremilns can be a pig to sort, but saying that, they don't cause trouble all that often. My favourite by the way. Enjoy it. |
