SEM seem to get all the business.

That's where Motorforce in South Shields sent their wheels.

They're somewhere in Sunderland.

Motorforce do - not sure about SEM.

Try www.yell.co.uk for SEM or speak to Motorforce.

Anyone know of a place in West Yorks who does a good job on wheels? My motorbike is beginning to look worse for wear in this dept.

I think they did the swing arm on my Kawasaki - mind that was 19 years ago.

There's also the Sneeps (Sneaps) place in New York - if it's still there.

When "I were a lad" the 2 brothers had MK1 & MKII Lotus Cortinas - way cool back then. One of them had a body shop just past the entrance to the F*rd dealer.

Mind, I believe they all sent the wheels to SEM. Tynemouth Mo Co do.

Floody, how much did they charge? I'm in two minds whether to get mine done, or whether just to by some 17" wheels and tyres off ebay

Thanks for the help guys, gonna make a couple of calls and check prices.

Most places seem to use sandblasting now, not so many do the diamond cutting anymore which i felt gave a better finish. Oh well, will have to see the results.

£160.00 left the car at 8am. picked it back up at 4pm.
They dont like keeping car's over night (could be insurance) not sure.
That was for a pearl finish in silver, they can do any colour. Not got the tel.no but they are in the back of the Auto Trader every week

Yep, thats local!!!

I think SEM have started to slack off a bit the last few sets thay have done for me seem to have very little paint on them and they never painted the rears of the wheels either, dont know if its just how busy they are or that they know there the best in the area and can do the job how they like!!

Regards

Jimmy
