You have to wait till December? Huh?
Whoever posted about Roadfly is right, BMW does sell something insane like 50-60,000 of them a year in America last time I paid even remote attention. But there is one cool thing about having an X5.. you can stick an E38 radio module in one, take it to the dealer and have it coded for satellite radio |

Finally got a close up rear view (ooer) of the X3 and doesn't it look an ugly machine, especially the rear lights. Not into the whole 4x4 SUV thing personally, i'd rather thrash round a track than climb every mountain and forge every stream |

Well, I like the X5's, having just driven one off road (properly, on an off-road course ).
Great feeling when you hear the front end crunch after a steep slope, sliding down in the mud - knowing its not yours.. Lovely handling and very comfortable, would have one tommorrow (if I had the 40K to own one) Pity the only inclines they will probably encounter are kerb stones on the way to pick/drop off the kids... |

It's probably the new Bangle facelift release, in an attempt to overcome the astounding ugliness of the original. Have to say the X5 is a nicely styled machine, still wouldn't have one. At least it hasn't been subjected to the full 'Bangleification' yet, unlike the rest of the range. Is it just me or is there a spot of fishing going on in here? |

The link shows (me) the car in Mystic blue with 17" 5 spokes with factory bodykit. Works for me, but there again, so does the new 7,5 & E90 3 series. Even the Z4 is growing on me. Bought this car 'cos it's quicker, more space inside, less space outside, lighter, more economical (LOL) and has features the X5 doesn't, at less cost. I quite like the looks too and it will be available for viewing at the Vale of York & Humber meeting too where you can gaze in awe at it's ugliness etc.. See You on the 29th? |
