Due to circumstances beyond my control (my boss, who was warned 2 months ago that I wanted the days off), I won't be able to make the trip to Frankfurt.
I have flights booked and paid for (Aer Lingus, so don't know if they're transferrable), and have a room booked (not yet paid for) in the hotel. Will be cancelling the booking on Wednesday morning unless someone from the forum wants to avail of it.
Anyone interested, let me know.

Here whats this can you even get one day of and try and get a return flight for the evening so at least you get a good look at the show, You know that you will regret not going and does you Boss not realise that this could have an adverse effect on your health and any employeer that endangers their employees health could see their shop/business being boycotted by the paying/buying public

Well cheesed off, but not a chance of escape - even for the 1 day!!! A couple of other things have come up that make it impossible; aside from Sundays, my next day off will be sometime in October!
I've booked it off for next year after consultation with one of the managers (I was talking to myself again)!!! Can anyone give me a date for it so I can book flights and hotel???
Still holding the hotel reservation until tomorrow in case anyone decides they want to go. It's a single room booked in the Tryp Hotel in Frankfurt-am-main for the 2 nights, costing €250. Aer Lingus flights worked out (incl taxes, etc) at €102 (if I can transfer mine, anyone who wants them is welcome to them).

Fey its on every second year so the next Frankfurt Trip will be in 2007, theres always the Essen Show in Oct which is really something else a modders paradise

Just to let the rest of you know that admission tickets are €13 for the day or €8 for the afternoon after 3pm so its extremely good value compared to events in Irl and the Uk
