Hi Guys, on an e36 the only way to adjust WOT that I have found is on the pedal stop in the footwell.

regarding how to get there:

OK, take a look at their website and you will see a link to a map.

http://www.austec.co.uk/map.htm

There is a link that says 'click here for a map'. Once you click that you get a new window with a map. Click "Large Map" at the bottom.

You will see the A2011 Crawley avenue. That is the road from Junction 10 M23. As Tony says, come off at Junction 10 and head down the dual carriageway. Turn right at the roundabout. There is a flyover going form left to right. Up a bit of dual carriageway to another roundabout. Now, normally you would turn right here, but they are building a stupid guided bus thingy, so this bit is temporarily one way in the wrong direction for you. You have to turn left down Manor Royal. Turn first right up Newton Road and at the end of Newton Road turn right into Flemming Way. At the end of Flemming way there is another roundabout, so turn left back onto Gatwick Road. Austec is just up on the right.

I'll take a drive down there and have a look to see if I can't find a suitable landmark for you.

Also, there are a number of OK pubs around there, so depending on what you fancy I can pick out a suitable watering hole

Simon

Gatwick Road runs through the middle of the industrial estate best way in is junction 10 M23 then down to roundabout and turn right then at the next roundabout turn right again. This is gatwick road, it runs right up to the A23 near gatwick. The area we need is somewhere down there. Sorry i cant be more precise, maybe Simon can shed some light as to where asutek are exactly.

Alright Si, sorry to hear of your problems!

your new gearbox should be 'run in' as it will have been tested before leaving getrag.

modern manufacturing techniques remove the need for long running in, so 200 miles ish should see it ok.

always worth multiple opinions though eh!
