I'd be interested in both (a) and (b).

What did you have in mind? What about a track day?

You're right, it is a bit quiet in here

Hi harry, nice to see another SE'er in here, and not far away too!

I would be looking at a rolling road session initially simply because sleeper junior is due in 8 weeks and there have been a substantial overspend by Mrs. Sleeper on baby stuff - funds a tad tight!

Do you know how much brands is for track days at all?

All we need to do now is round up some more people!!

Hi Guys, a good rolling road in the area is Bexley Motor Works' one. Located in Bexleyheath, Kent. Not too far from Brands...

Easytrack normally do Brands days, a few of the guys on this forum go to them. Normally about £100 for an evening session on the Indy track.

It is very quiet on here!

They normally seperate into 2 or 3 groups, being Brands it can get up to 24 cars at a time, on the Indy Circuit!!

You get 20-30 min sessions, normally 2-3 times in the evening. This is often reduced due to a 996 Porsche visiting the kitty litter!

There's Austec near Gatwick Airport. I know they do RR days, as I took my Skyline there on a 200SX outing. They've now had their rollers upgraded to 600bhp ones, as previously it was only a 350bhp setup.

Hey, Never done an RR, if I've still got the 540 when it's organised could be interested, same for track day.

Just got a '96 523 so would still be interested in track event.

I've filled in my blank. Will they take 7? Maybe we could get a better deal if there's more of us? I suppose we could always ask a couple of non-BMW owners if we need to make the numbers up, what do you think?

Hi Fiz, I have enquired for 7. I don't think they will mind having 7 queued up in line for the rollers but we will see what they say. They advertise group bookings on the website.

From a business point of view it looks good to me, even if only one of us (me!) comes back to them for work then its a customer they didn't have before the session - and shouting their name on here!

No doubt we can get more cars if we need them.

What age is your 525? I know that RR companies like to see good S/H before you go on the rollers, just in case there is a large bang!

It's a 1991, but does have pretty much full history, and was last serviced in January.

No, but I would suggest a good checkover first - oil, water, (chain noise on M3), the usual. Oh yeah, and make sure your throttle is adjusted!!!
