Great day out folks, even more convinced we should go for the entire weekend next year camping, we could turn this into the scottish gaydon if we get much more of a turnout.

Raffle was most rewarding but highlight of the day was the stewards chasing the donkeys in field next door trying to catch them.

528 for now

top bloke to

Well make sure you do at Gaydon!

Cheers darlin', yours was rather tasty as well!  Have been thinking about getting my windows tinited, and after seeing yours, I think I will now.

And you're right, Z8 won the day!

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Ferris pass-out at 31 Flavours last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

i tint all my cars after living in the states,it helps the glare of the sun and keeps the heat down and of course makes the car a wee bit more private the guy who done mine was top notch,i am really pleaed with them as beemers and tints dont go well together with the back windows being a pain.

i think yours AC will look the dogs dangly bits if you get them done

Good run home from Aberdeen too, traffic was light, apart from the 10-cars+lorry overtake on a crawler lane, would have been 12 cars but a bloke in a hyundai was being deliberately awkward

Highlights were a run in Garys E30 M3 Evo (thanks very much for that, very fast driver but very skilled too), and Mell with her attempts at a new land speed record on the dual carriageways

glad i went the A9 route then ;)

got back exactly 9:07 and that was with a 20min stop due to roadworks, few quick runs with some traffic and only one cop car hiding behind the bushes LOL, stephen i tried to phone u and tell u that going round the roundabout would be a waste of time as we could blend in with the traffic  i think neil figured that one out and was just behind me

cracking day out altho 500 miles driving took its toll and the sunburn

Summer Project on its way......

I wondered where you guys were going, when you didn't turn off at Hermiston Gate on the Edinburgh City ByPass.

You'll have got tangled up in the traffic from the Highland Show.

New Camera (Nikon D70s DSLR) - just got it last week before I went upto Skye. I haven't had a chance to read the manual, so it is still in automatic mode .

It's 6 Megapixel and gives images 3000 x 2000 pixels. I have reduced the posted photos to 640 X 430 pixels.

If anyone is interested and want to get large prints of their photos, Jessops do prints 15" x 10" for £1.99 http://www.jessopsphotoexpress.com/wpp/jessopsphotoexpress/w elcome.jsp

Re Flickr - my pictures should be there. However, I'll need to upgrade my account to get more slideshows

OK I've created a new slideshow on Flickr (all 107 pics) see  http://www.flickr.com/photos/86096987@N00/sets/509958/show/

I spoke to the owner of this 1602. Fascinating history - the car is all original, the only thing done to it is a bonnet respray to cover stone chips. Car is also a daily driver.

The chap is a member of BMWCC. I invited him to come over and have a look at our stand - don't know if he made it though?

1602

Did anyone catch the owner of this convertible?

E30 Conv

This would have made a nice addition to the stand?

Police 5

hmmm... maybe someone could write to them to ask if they'd consider putting a bmw police car on display next year, even if not directly on a club stand, maybe ajoining so they could do their foolspeed campaign spiel?
