The Baron looks mighty fine Mark. You gobba fit a sport steering wheel to replace the giant bus wheel?

E30 sport wheel will not fit your car Mark, boss is different. splines on column are different.
I have a Mountney boss which is designed for E23 up to 1982. its a new old stock item. Do you want it for a £5 when we meet up next Sunday?
you will need to buy a nice Mountney or other aftermarket wheel off fleabay. I got a really nice momo for just £5 for VJ.

He will know the answer to that when he removes the chrome arches
My X regd 728i was completely wrecked by rust breeding behind the chrome arches I loved that car, plenty of pep too. 728i's are much maligned by guys who have never driven one

I used to drive to Brands in my 728i to watch the BMWCC racing. happy days, around 1992-95. where have the years gone?

lol, I dose look reley good but the rust has set in.
When I bought the car last year i thought i had bought a bargin oh what
a fool. paed £360 for it I thought this was good price to pay it had
not being used for 6 mounths ither now i
see I can by one for the same that is in mutch better nick and has mot
on it and I shoud had paed £50 for it, it needs new doors, new arches,
rear corners hav gon and one has a hole needs joints replaceing and the
rear boot spoyler is faling off what have i dun BUT just look at it
I can forgive it evey time because it has a look to die for I love the
couler and look of the frount spoyler and no other car other than the 6
can mach it. am I mad for spending too much muney on a car that
cast to much and has less going for it than for it or just a fool but never mined

Tickets are available on the gate, but it is best to buy your ticket in advance.
We all spend too much on old cars, it's an affliction we're all suffering from! (Well according to my wife that is!!)

Mark
My Stepdad has an X Reg 735i SE which had all the knobs and whistles (not sure if he is breaking it or selling it off to a scrappie) it may have some bits you may be interested in... like the sports steering wheel??
If you're interested let me know and I'll ask him...
Cheers

Grahame, some more info please. Is it in a poor condition, or is he scrapping because he can't sell? I'd like to see more of these early 7's saved.
I am hoping that there will be an equally good turn out this year as was last years, so come along, more e23's the better!
