A good meeting last night.... nice to see everyone again, I think around 15 members turned out which is pretty good for a Champions League night ..... Would have been a disaster if it had been tonight, what with NUFC in the UEFA Cup!!

Passed on you apologies Mark.....

Mick went through a number of options on the forthcoming events which will be in the newsletter... seems like we have too many things to choose from and we all need to vote on what we wantr to do! The most popular runs seemed to be The Lakes and Holy Island..... a few people (including Calvin) were keen on the Rockingham event too...

Mick mentioned Slot Car Racing.... which sounded interesting!! Anyone who wants to come along and see what it's all about can join us on Tuesday night in Four Lane Ends (Longbenton) .... again it'll be in the newsletter. If we are all up for it then there will be a chance to race for real in May/June I think!

Back to Sunday.......... Anyone got any ideas as nothing was discussed?

Oh and on the subject of the newsletter.... Mick asked again if any of us could write an article?? I don't think there is any in this months!!

With regards venue, I think they are still looking at all the options and will report back to us all soon....

I think that's everything!?!?

Cheers everyone

I'm up for Holy Island for certain.  Not so keen on the Lakes because the traffic going over there always ruins it.

As in Scalextrics?  I can't make next Tuesday anyway, never been a fan of them though.  As a kid it was trains.  Now, having 2 girls, we don't have much use for either trains or toy cars in the house!  Ahem!

The weather forecast is miserable.  I know that much...

The 66 is not to bad now as most of it is duel carrageway, hit the bit between Keswick and the end of Lake Bassenthwaite (the old road, now duel) you would love it!!!!!!!!

Might have to take your up on the Trains and Cars one day!

The Lakes sounds better now too!

Very quiet in here though, so I presume nothing is happening at the weekend because of the weather and closeness to last run.

I'm still at home, though working from home, so not much of a rest.

No need to duck with comments about Newcastle when I'm around....I was shouting for Sporting tonight and I'll be screaming for them in the away leg.

Newcastle United= Universal Dreamers

The fickle of the ficklest even managed to clap Bowyer onto the field tonight - oh they're unique.  By that I mean no-one else would be quite so stupid as to......

Not a fan, did you guess?
