How do i get the instrument cluster apart

   Hi,
I have taken my Instrument cluster out of my E39 Y2000 535 sport. this was very easy to do but now it's out i can't seem to work out how to get the thing apart!! I need to get into it as i think the service indicator lights got disconnected. 
I had taken the car to a dodgy backstreet garage to get them to sort out the engine warning light as i got so fed up with it being permantly on and no one ever being able to find a fault yet happily taking �30-�40 quid of me each time to do a diagnostic check! I think the problem with the service lights started then as they now will not reset and is stuck with one green bar on them. 
anyone who knows how to get the thing apart could they let me know!
