have you got the Handbook for the alarm? might be some clues in there.

VJ has an ancient alarm/remote locking system called Foxguard. the installation looks bodgy but so far its working fine and no batt drain issues. I do have the Handbook for this.

its nice having remote lock/unlock on such an old car!

I do have a handbook, and I can't remember what alarm make it is but it is a CAT 1 alarm as required by the previous owners insurane company, c/w installation certificate!

right, I disconnected the battery last night after running it up, and this pm reconnected it and it started without a problem, so I think it's down to lack of use.

it needs some welding by the jacking point on the drivers side, so will need this first, then an Mot to see what else, but it won't be long, just sorting other things out to make way for this B10.
