hi everyone the essex boys meet will be on sun the 8th of may.

We will meet at the services off the a12 at the junction of shenfield/mountnessing at 3.00pm sunday.

Once we have all gathered we will take a "leisurely" drive to the Green man public house in chipping ongar for a drink and a chat to discuss what we would like to do with the region and what we would like to do in the future ie meets, days out etc.....

All are welcome

Please PM me if you are unsure of the directions or you have any questions

Great, well done for organising it Jamie

I'm not sure if the BP Services is the best place to meet though as it really is tiny with about 5 parking places (i live just round the corner) and if we are looking at getting a few cars in there we wont fit.

If you come off the A12 at this round about, take the exit towards Shenfield and drive about 1/2 mile there is a large school on the left (Shenfield School if anyone knows it) This will have plenty of space for us to meet in.

Thoughts ?

Are you guys all driving E46 M3 etc?

My old bangers are crying in shame.

Those of you coming via the A12, please note this road is always targeted by "road safety" scamera vans. last week they were parked by the Boreham exit.

On this road I use lane 1 and let the chavs in hot hatches zoom past me, straight into the path of the scamera vans.

Every week the local rag's court proceedings page is always full of reports of drivers fined heavily for "exceeding 70mph on the A12". Drive accordingly guys.

So, AG, no 145mph in your 535i please
