Had the first trackday of the new car. Went well and supprised myself and a few unsuspecting porsches.

The sinbin rule Paul (M3CSL) talked about. Well this did not apply for these trackdays and overtaking can be done on both sides. These events are very well run. If anyone is interested in the odd one PM me and i'll give you Ian's contact number.

Glad to hear it went well Toby. I think a couple of friends from the Lotus club attended in a 340r and blue S1 Elise?

My car ain't working  It's leaking oil from the dry sump system, hopefully it is just a hose needing tightned.

Paul i was out with the 340R and elise you talked about. They both over took me but the M3 did hold it's own against lighter and more powerful motors. I was just learning the cars braking abilities and handling characteristics.

Paul,

Are you still on for tomorrow night? Got your cheque but might be able to make it up if new oil pump sorts out 8LUR tomorrow.. Either way I'm sure Dave Bolton wil let me on.

Toby, I've got new front discs and Pagid Blues all round on order so will be up for some of those track days with you from May onwards let me know when the next one is on.

Paul, + we have that Knockhill Motorfair day on 6th/7th May. One last swangsong for the CSL..?

John F can't make it as he's touring with the big Zed so perhaps Toby can substitute with his E30 - let me know Tob..

Toby,

This you?

http://simonarnot.fotopic.net/p14041115.html

The blue Elise is a Type R and both the drivers are nutters .

Jon,

I really don't know about KH tomorrow. Been working on it this morning and I've found the hose, just need to get a 26mm spanner to check whether it's slack or the coupling is cracked.

CSL will be fine. I have the ****ty Ferrodo pads that came with the calipers if I'm really stuck.

Paul

I won't be there. Do you want your place back or will I give it to a mate?

Plz give it to a mate Paul as it's only 20% chance I can make it at mo'. Let me know details so I can tell SS-R or email Dave Bolton directly.

Cheers
