the green one is in lots of bits, totaly rust free, 60,000 car lots of spares for the brown turd. how mad am i. who wants spares. now wheres my angle grinder.

yep, replicate BMW SA's 745! Now there's an idea for that green e23 Rob!#

Out of curiosity, will the recaro front seats from an e28 fit the e23?

 Rob your first idea of 24v in e23 (south african 745i style) is a good one and i just happen to have a complete m5 e28 running gear available ! . More power crazed deviants needed !.

just need the camshaft reprofiled and gas flow the head and buy ags exhaust manifolds...

Fritz's Bits can help you with a free-flow exhaust system.

Modifying the head..... the words "Schrick" and "camshaft" spring to mind....

The S38 and gearbox would fit in theory, but you might have a problem fitting in the rest of the driveline....

i dont use metrics now, got a nice set of 15 inch cross spokes. i must admit no grip with the metrics even on new tyres. mind you e23s dont go that fast to warrent worrying about.
