Why do you have to wait for all? Don't you just make it up as you go along? That's what I do at work!

Get him a ball that you can put treats inside, he plays with it and a treat falls out. He only chews things when bored.

My chocolate lab did that with kitchen floor tiles, so I put ceramic ones down, that stopped his little game, well that and the fact I kicked his teeth in !

Best Wishes

We used to have a black lab that chewed everything, bottom of doors, shoes - the usual stuff.
Better than the Irish Wolfhound that had the squits, left great puddles of brown stuff on the kitchen lino. poor thing had to be put down as back end went completely.

Seriously....he's bored.

I'm afriad to have to tell you he wants a playmate, leave him with another dog and this is unlikely to happen.

You can try the leave the radio on stuff, but I will be surprised if that works.

Any neighbours got a dog he likes you can try this out with ?

Best Wishes

Nigel

i really do agree with you ..and thanks for the feed back

the only thing thats get to me   is that i will tire him out 30 mins before i will leave {only for 2 hours max]   he then goes to his bed really tired then is straight off to sleep   ...what goes through his mind is a total mystry to me  .. he must think il wind him up  because iam not out in the car having fun etc ..they say labs are clever   this one beats eintstein  lolol

dont let mrs pma hear that another dog is needed ...i carnt have two of them doing the same damage  ...however if thats what would make for a happy floor and an a happy dog then i will relent and have two

he does have a freind across te road [old dog 12 yrs old] but that one is a cross and doesnt like young dogs  ...but thanks   anything is worth a try ..iam going grey as we speak

its a dogs world out there
