If I had a lock up it would be in it, It looks very clean for its age cleaner than mine but then most thing are, sham no one wonts it.

I am very tempted on this one good spec and close to go and have a look witch I may do as as I need a good front drivers seat, but would have to get rid pritty quick if I did buy her

the brown one has the cream leather interior and memory on the drivers seat. Well worth breaking up for parts.

can you rent a lock up for 3 months while you dismantle it carefully?

your local council may have lockups to rent

the brown car is local to Mark, and has loads of good parts & panels on it. If you can sort a garage to rent, then go for it, you will have a source of parts to keep the RB running.

or, if its really clean & unrusty you can fix the blown HG and make it into a runner again.

Mark, the brown car has been relisted for £250 or offers!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category =9837&item=4558494582&rd=1

the cream leather looks well worth 100 to 150 plus loads of spares for the RB.

get haggling!

Nice one Mark!!

Haggle hard, 100 to 150 is well worth it for the leather.

plenty of good bits to plunder on that one.

or, if you decide to repair it, Rob has a complete cyl head thats only done 60k miles - will fit that car.

I had probs with trip comp time/date on mine till Philip told me date has to go in US style, month, day, year or it won't take it.

Should be push in end on left hand column stalk, that will cycle display, when you get it to time/date press pin into small hole on bottom right hand side, past dotted lines to zeros then enter using bottom row buttons. Think once you get it right you press pin in hole again to set it. Hope it helps, took me days to get mine right, then battery went flat and I had to do it all again, lol!

Hiab,

board member selephant is after a cheapie 735i e23 I believe.

Please tell us the colour of your 735i FS. I think its Sapphire blue which is the silver-blue metallic shade.

Are the panels fairly straight & not too rusty?

Does it drive OK etc etc
