Meeting is tonight, meeting at the Barnes Wallace, on the B1248 north of Howden at the level crossing, for 7.30 to depart before 8.  We'll have a drive down some nice country lanes to the Black Horse, Ellerker for a nice meal.

All welcome.  I can be contacted on 07940 880508.

Stu,
Have a good meeting tonight, I am afraid I shall be too busy to pop along.

FYI... Croft'05 is all sold out.

Had a nice drive out (weather was great) and a lovely meal last night, with 7 people turning out.

On the way back, found out my X3 has similar top end to a 323 Touring - in 4th!!  Hope you all missed those GATSO's on the M62.

Nige's M5 is absolutely gorgeous, it looks really stunning in white.  I'm off out to find a copy of BMW Car to see the feature on it.

Will do another drive and dine next month, a little further afield.  Details t.b.c.

Really good evening, thanks to StuB.

I too hope that GATSO's were avoided

Looking foward to the next meeting. Maybe I'll drive and dine rather than dine then drive next time!!

Rhys

a couple of years back for an anniversary weekend (wife's a sweaty sock) we stayed in Inverness.  On the Sunday, we drove over to Skye via KoL, went round Skye looking for some famous restaurant - 4 chimneys or something, which we never did find, then back to FW for 5 pm.  Then drove down home (south of York) to drop the missus off and had to be in Brighton for 8.30 next morning, so drove straight down, arriving about 2 am!

Great days driving, but a little bit tiring.

Really enjoyed the A830, Fort William to Mallaig.

Left York 7.30pm, arrived Sterling 10.15pm (straight into bar at travel inn) - left 5.30am, got to J 'o' G 10.30am then off to Thurso (Scrabster) to catch ferry to Kirkwall - spent week there. then drive to Skye - another week there, then home. About 2,500 miles in total. Expected to be 3k as usually about 1,500 a week, thing is Orkney isn't big but it's great driving round there. Sky is awful driving as roads are rubbish.

a couple of pic's
