Hi there

i have had to take some interior out  to fix leaks - and now i can't remember what a certain bracket does, and I can't see it on the ETK.

After removing carpet etc... i took off a black metal painted bracket on the passenger side, just above the bonnet pull. The bracket attaches in some way to the two screws just below those which hold the dashboard in place.

It is L shaped, quite large, has numerous holes through it and has  a little bit of plastic edging around one side. Presumably to save wires that  are tightly packed near it, from being worn away.

It looks like wires might go through it, but i have not fiddled with electrics, and certainly did not pull wires through it.

I seem to remember that it appeared to do very little, though it looks substantial enough...

Any help appreciated....

just answered my own question incase it was annoying some people!  ... its the bracket , to which the black plastic under facia panel part of the glove box is attached, and then this holds the strap on the left side of glove box. :)
