The 8 was backed into the other day and the front bumper/nose cone is cracked. The other guy gave me his insurance etc so im not going to skimp. Need a place that is familiar with the 8 and that does good paint in North London.

Regards,

Rohan

Rohan , try southway garages , wembley , they are near the stadium. They are clued up with BMWs , the car won't need to be rebuilt when they've finished it. In the last 3 years they have done 3 e30 M3s, 2 M5 tourings a B10 biturbo and countless other cars for me  all to my satisfaction (i'm mean and fussy !) for fair prices.          ;       Speak to Paul 02089029370

Thanks guys,

eta, it is through the insurance but in my experience BMW dealers do not do great paint. Well at least the last time one sprayed the front of this lady it was a shocking job!

Hiabboy, will try them, I was in wembley today at eurocarparts, where abouts are they in there?

Regards,

Rohan

If repaired at a BMW approved bodyshop, you can rightly expect the car to be perfect - do not settle for less. They have to invest in specialist eqpt, training etc. are are inspected regularly by BMWGB.

If, the work was below standard and you make a formal complaint - the s**t hits the fan at BMWGB!

Visit a few of the BMW bodyshops in the area, I'm guessing there must be at least 4 within 20 miles and see some of their work and how you feel their 'attitude' is - make it clear you expect perfection and see what their response is.

There are lots of good independent bodyshops out there, but as insurance is paying, it is worth getting a BMW warrantied repair done - you then have got the backup of BMWGB.
