Nearly as good as mine!

What are the 'dots' on the sills?

My front apron is grey. Were these painted Black? Will mine restore, or do I need to get it repainted?

chrome sill strip removed for some reason - the dots could be the clips that hold the chrome strip in place maybe?

front apron should be grey with a matt sheen but not all faded and blotchy.

Front apron & door mirrors and other plastic/rubber trim can be renovated with a product like Trim Black. it does not dye things black, it simply restores the original appearance. I have used it to great effect on my cars' faded door mirrors. i plan to use it on their aprons too.

another option is have your aprons front & rear painted body colour. door mirrors too if you like.

My blue E23's rear apron is body colour and it looks good.

Good question you can get good one for around £500 I payed £350 for mine, no MOT and needing a little TLC a bit too much should have payed £100 but its one different e23 for sour and is high spec,  the trouble with e23's is there Neely all the same price good and bad one's. If you want a top spec one Post Messig Hiabboy he has an ex with Buffalo leather trim witch is in Tidy nick {he loves em}

For that you might want to try Johnsmodels, probably a link through club shop as he also does handbooks, manuals etc.

i dident know you could pick up a 735 so cheap now. i remember i paid lots of money for my one. and i paid for the extras like spare wheel and ariel, from the bmw dealers. but i was given the choise of cloth trim or leather for more money so i stuck to the standard plastic seats. leather looking but cheaper.

that must be a 7 series e23 your after. i remember i had one years ago, cost a lot of money back then. they were good cars but very slow and i had to buy all the extras from bmw. it was a good car and had a heater. the gearbox autobox went on it and had to have it fixed. then the propshaft went then the front badge went.

Yes, one of Philips collection. Surprised to hear you think them slow, but doesn't matter as I have the 528 and that definatley isn't slow! 732 will be for long runs and occasional use rather than daily car. Whatever the differences I'm sure it will give me just as big a "grin" as the E28's.

 Omegaman is obviously a wind up . Only 3 types of people drive omegas

              1. the filth

              2. 'council' types

               3. Rob e23

  Which category does omegaman fit into ?
