like you say, £50 a rim is no bargain when you see sets of clean rims with good tyres go for peanuts these days.

I am shoer I can fined something Philip. I have dun many a wheel, the worse being an old xr2 that had not being washed for 3 years. I have brushes and other stuff, You can also use a very little watered down oven cleaner or jiff, but be very care full, test on unseen area and give a lot a wax after woulds, Waxing the wheel also make it easer to clean,

I would be Happley to do VJ Philip your choice, m8.

I'm looking fwd to your next visit. I've ordered new door latch buffers for all doors on both cars. VJ's drivers door will benefit from a little striker adjustment, as it tends to bounce open slightly when you try to shut it. it shuts into the frame a little too far IMO.
