which models had the LSD or was it and option on all models?

Realoem parts catalogue lets me look at the LSD diff, so I assume it was an optional on all models.

E32 735 on LPG
MKII 820, MKII Vitesse.

it was optional, but many did find their way onto later 7's. Does yours have one fitted?

Your BM dealer parts Dept. can tell you from the last 7 digits of your VIN no. Worth getting the printout from them (should be free) then you will hve all the build details of your car.

Just found this old post (from Shogun I think):-

Please input last 7 digits of VIN (vehicle identification number) to get details of your car.
