A friend is thinking about buying one of these beasts which are apparently quite rare. He has heard of a white one for sale at the moment...anyone know of this car?...anyone know of another for sale?

Thanks,

Ed.

The hartge E36 V8?

I think there was one for sale on the Autotrader (or something similar). It was Boston Green and had been in a few magazines. This was 6 - 8 weeks ago now.....

I imagine it would be pretty similar to an Alpina B3 to drive

Were you enquiring as a buyer...... or a jealous friend?

Mister G...I am talking about an E30 M3 based vehicle which is called H36-24 and they were certainly never built in Boston green.

BTW...I never get jealous!...sometimes envious but never jealous!

Very Very Very RARE. Reputed to be only 6 made. On a recent visit to the German Night at The Ace Cafe (off A406 North Circular) a chap called Alan brought along his immaculate version....detailed in TotalBMW March 03!!

What a car!

What brakes were originally fitted to this car, were they off another model or car specific, anyone know?

If this is the white one that has been for sale for a while, I advise you send a PM to a guy called c76jon who uses this forum regular, and ask his opinion, as he went to view the car (aka Hetty, John will reveal all!).

Nostrils...I assume it was a red one that you say at Ace?...also I have checked on the brakes and they were a bespoke item at the time though Kevin at Hartge tells me that you're not missing much by not having them.

Mister G...u need a new source of info, these cars were all sold and gone by 1995 and am sure they cost a bit more than your stated price.

I wonder if MisterG was quoting the price of the conversion ie the car was extra!

Sorry for the confusion, you are right. That was the Hartge conversion charge (apparently)

I wouldn't mind a V10 conversion on my E36 M3... I wonder what that would cost!?!?!?!

Wendy has now sold her white one but I understand it may have been
bought to sell on, so maybe it's still kicking around....

Pleased to hear that Wendy has sold the car, hope everybody was happy with the deal.

If Waddo has helped in this then fair play to him...
