As per this post in the Club Events forum http://www.bmwcarclubforum.co.uk/forum_posts.asp?TID=20493&a mp;PN=1 I'm interested in getting a team from the York & Humberside together (Nick?), so I wondered if anyone else in this area was up for it? Be happy to share the ride down there too. Let me know if you're interested. |

As much as I love Karting (and am a regular at the superb track in Middlesbrough), Milton Keynes is way too far to travel for me I'm afraid.

Is that Warden Law you're on about Coasting? It's a good track. Do they run pro-kart grids these days?

Apparently this has been cancelled for obvious reasons.

I have just picked up on this thread as our phones have been down most of the week.
I am sure we could have rustled up at least two teams just with our extended gang that meets at Howden. A karting night is long overdue.. but sadly a summers Sunday is the wrong time as our friend Rapid-Response has just found out... there are far too many other events and holidays going on.. we need to pick a quieter time. We also need to target another group and throw down the gauntlet in such a fashion that they feel the need to attend just to humble us.. The TVRCC spring to mind, but seeing as how we have whupped them into submission on previous occaisions they may be a bit slow on the uptake.. (Rich, if you are reading.. I'm only teasing mate!) Lets talk about it again at the next meeting and see if we can organise something for the darker months. Nick |
