I'll be down at the Central area display tomorrow.

If you require tickets for the Town and Country Show NEXT weekend, then come and find me. I'll have them with me.

I'd just like to say that SWMBO & I enjoyed ourselves on Monday at the show

I'm sure that (E30 325i Cab) Paul & his partner also enjoyed themselves as well.

I'm also sure that if anyone else from the Central Region had bothered to turn up on Monday they would have probably enjoyed themselves as well - but nobody did, so Paul and I had the HUGE space all to ourselves - and a few 'plebs' who used it as a picnic area.

Thanks must go to Andy for all the trouble he went to in trying to organise this.

Obviously we will ALL have try a little harder next time to support him -

Won't we??

Thanks for everyone's support in this event, a few more takers would have been great though.

Hopefully, some pics in the next magazine.

BTW, it took me a few moments to decode the "SWMBO".....he he !!

Problem with a three day show is that it takes a lot of organising. People need to know what is happening and when, so that they can make the neccessary arrangements.

Many would have come from the North East Region, who first mooted attending this show. However, it would seem that the information was only put out a short period before the show, by which time they had made other arrangements.

Having made similar mistakes myself over the years, I thought that it would be useful to pass on my thoughts. Many times, the only attendees at some of my meets were me and the wife! Only afterwards did I realise that I had not done it right.

Lots of work was put in, and those who attended obviously enjoyed the show. Better luck next time.
Best wishes

Agreed, but that doesn't explain those who said they would turn up - and then didn't!

I think that Donington falls in the NE area, so maybe Howard and his team have something up their sleeves.

Cheers.
