Need to check the tyres... I have curbed it a few times, which I am not proud of. Hope it is fine.

Considering the weight of your car I would definitely go for a DOT 5.1 brake fluid. I think you're going to boil the standart fluid pretty quickly on the track, and don't expect to take it easy, because you won't be able to!

Yeah I think so, would like to give it a run around. Can't really use it the way it was made for on our Dublin roads. Not without brake numerous laws.

its not a race! there'll be 316's and similar slower cars there. Its all about geting the best out of your car and improving your own driving skills.

Ben - I have a 520; it was one of the lowest powered cars there last time, but I still had great fun.

Correct.

It's not a competition. It's a good day out for all the members to meet up and have the craic. Do as many laps as you feel comfortable with, it's also nice to cut lose on tarmac with no speed limits.....trust me you will enjoy it

I'm pretty certain that my E30 took the prize for lowest powered car there the last time!! Still had a blast though. And it is worth mentioning the value for money you get at the track days.... have done a good few sprints and rally sprints up there, they don't even come close in terms of smiles per Euro!

At the track day last year I managed something like 65 miles in my E30 320i. Like yourself, I wasn't the fastest out there by far but I still had great fun.

Guys

I would love to attend this event but I only joined the forum a couple of weeks ago (and have been away ever since) and just joined the club today.  How long will it take my membership info to come back from England?  Are there many places even left?

Mick

and another M3.

I booked the first week of october off (well, going in france for few days) to have time to fit the exhaust line, coilovers and SS brake lines/dot5.1 fluid.
