Diff output flanges

Hi guys, don't post on here often but after some concrete information.
Can you change the output flanges on a 3.25:1 LSD from an '82 e23 735i to
make it fit an e30... ie using the flanges from a large case e30 diff.
I know I need to swap the casings but I dunno if the flanges are
interchangeable.. any help would be great..don't panic about the ratio, the engine is coming with the diff :D

Hi to the guys that were at the NI MAX-BMW show, great laughs were had,
particularly Kenny and Fey! with their slow motion carpark tours..
