Beat me to it Pete.

I would recommend them as my centre box of S/S collapsed and they fitted a new one without any bother and the job was a good 'un.

Hello mate,  I'm currently doing up my E30 325i and I've done the suspension (Spax PSX) & exhaust (inc. 6 branch manifold) already.  If you're interested you are more than welcome to see what I've done - it might give you ideas.  Are you going to the next monthly meet at the Hawes Inn, if so you can see her there (if I can remember what time the meet begins that is...)

Have no fear

We are a nice bunch (well most of us)

Just a good old general chit chat about cars and loads of chit chat about other stuff

Then we normally go inside for a seat for food or a coke or something

There is normally always a member of Committee on hand so if you need to ask anything about club in general we are here to help

See You Sunday

The 325i sport has a closer ratio gearbox than the 325i, though I can't recall if the diff has the same ratio or not.  I think it is 3.73 on the standard 325i and possibly 3.91 on the sport (I can confirm this before Sunday).  It doesn't matter what car the LSD comes off of (so long as it fits, e.g. E30 M3, E30 Sport, E28 M5 (the internals can be built into the shell of your standard diff)... what's most important is the ratio: lower gearing (>3.73) = better acceleration but lower top speed versus higher gearing (<3.73) = less acceleration but higher top speed.  Keep the gearing the same (3.73) and you'll not affect your acceleration & top speed per se, but will get your power down better or be able to drift better if that's what you want).  Also make sure it's in good nick, if it's whining and needs a rebuild it'll cost you another £200!

The E30 Zone shop has the Spax PSX kit for a good price (same kit as I have):
E30 Zone shop
They also do the H&R cup kit which I have read is good.

And Larkspeed have the Koni kit for the same money:
Larkspeed

Both of these should be the 51mm strut kit which I believe your car should have being an H-reg, best to check tho'.

Did you get your 'box & LSD?

Wullie, I just remembered, I've still got the standard suspension off my car in my garage.  It came off ~2 months after I had her MOT'd so should be OK for another ticket.  I know you want to lower / upgrade but if you need a stop-gap (so she actually drives OK) until you get your suspension kit then you're welcome to 'em - they're just taking up space and I really need to do a clear out.  If you want 'em, just come and get 'em.

Did you get your 'box & lsd?

i finally have the box and diff now it only took two weeks for the guy to take them off the car thats progress eh!! speaking of which does anyone have acces to ramps or have any themselves that would give me a hand changing the box and diff as its a under car job and a trolly jack isnt the best way to go about it.people say theres no weight in a e30 but i wouldnt fancy it landing on me though!!!!
