I've recently bought a 318ti Compact (E36) ‘R’ 1997. I've got the Owners Handbook but there are no details about the 318ti, only the 318iS and no information about the Compact model.

I desperately need help to find out the spec of the vehicle and what standard featured the car has (e.g.) Front or Rear Wheel Drive, Does it have Traction Control, Immobiliser etc.... what does ti stand for?

Please can someone help?

Is there anywhere where I can get this information from, or does anybody have the same car and able to tell me. Also, is there anywhere where I can buy or get hold of the Owners Handbook for the 318ti Compact.

Help needed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe it's rear wheel drive...

318ti E36 M44 4 140 HP 209 km/u 9.9 sec. 1994-1999

As far as the other stuff goes, I think everything was an optional factory extra from looking around the web. Just look and play with your car and see if it has the things you mention...

Take the VIN to your local dealer and ask them for a build sheet. That should give you some idea of how the car left the factory.
