hi iam steve i own a 1987 metal bumper version e30 318i with full m tec kit on  ive had to fully rebulid this car inc underbody  waxoil and damage repairs and respray in alpina white custom exhaust etc hopeing to do some regular pub meets in staffs area soon want to know if any one as had problem starting all lights on dash on fuel pump noise so works but no attempt to start please could any one help or if intresed on pub meets reply back

Check your engine earth-to-chassis connection, could also be a knackered starter motor/solenoid.

I believe the club holds pub meets in Cheshire somewhere? Also, visit E30Zone.co.uk for regular meets; one coming up at Tatton Park, hopefully...

sorted out problem dodgy solinod on starter thanx for help

ive spock to jeff and i am going to hold a pub meet at the milehouse pub on the a34 in staffs area on the 1st sunday of every mounth  starting the 4th dec as were are trying to get it in club mag first any whanting to come have a laugh a few drinks  get to know new people and to talk about bmws  .if you are coming or want more info please reply thanx steve
