I am looking to get my E30 318is respayed soon but am finding it hard locating a sound sprayer.

I want a top rate job but dont want to pay the sort of costs i have been quoted of between four and six grand as my car is worth roughly 4 grand through my insurers.

Pls help as i want to get it done before Tatton in September.

Where are you based as i know of a good place nr. Williams BMW Liverpool and another guy who sprayed my hardtop nr Kirkby/Knowsley.

Thanks for the reply aj.

 I am in north manchester just off the M60 so not really too much of an issue getting to Liverpool. I dont mind if i have to travel to get a good spray job but prefer it to be north west, so Liverpool isnt a problem.

I just want to get a good job as then i am going to get it teflon sprayed on top to hopefully keep the chips down to a minimum.

What you think.

If it's Kerrigans you are talking about then I can also recommend them. It's where my e34 M5 will be going soon as well!

There's a BMW bodyshop up the road as well, but you can usually triple any quote you get from Kerrigans to arrive at the BMW quote.

Also if you specifically ask the BMW place for a quote on the bonnet (or other panel) they will send you a quote for all the panels they think need doing at the same time - FFS!

cheers for the info mmm. Hopefully it will be the sort of place that you are suggesting. As you well know, there is no point in getting it sprayed unless its done right the first time

I dont suppose that you have a number or website for Kerrigans do you?

I am not bothered how long they have the car for. At the end of the day patience is a virtue and i have had to wait this long to get some sort of feedback. Other web forums got me no where.

Once again cheers mmm. Just have to await Aj coming back now.
