LOL Mell, arranging 'early' for xmas means May/June. now if you were talking Xmas 2006, THAT would be early!

well new year is more family time and can imagine alot of folk will be with their mates and we have a meet b4 xmas with a meal etc, thought it might be a good idea to get all areas in scottish club together for this,as i said its just a idea, nobody is forced to do anything in the club,if you dont want to go you dont have to.

The chances of getting everyone in the region together for a meal are slim.  It would need a central location with B&B (unless you want a 'dry' party).  The only alternative would be for Pete and BigIan to borrow a couple of 'company cars' and do the driving for everyone

i wud be up for the christmas do but am afraid new year is out of the question as i'll be having a bbq on bondi beach at that time

trying now to get a meal arranged for a christmas do especially at the weekend will be near impossible so i suppose it would be better to know places and dates first im easy id travel to most places

I didn't think you'd been to my place John?  I'd be happy to host a xmas bash in the bothy but there's no heating out there so it might be a bit chilly.

Perth is probably the most central, given the numbers that could be coming from Aberdeen and Glasgow.  But a midweek bash would involve time off work etc for most people and I doubt it would get much support.

I'm not being negative, just realistic

A plan maybe to have it on the Eve of the AGM (26th Nov)

The AGM is held at the Hawes Inn on the Sunday 27th 1400pm

That way people that want to travel can combine both things

There are many places you could stay on the Sat and go out for a drink/Meal etc:

Whether it be Edinburgh/Livingston or others

Previous:

E36 318is coupe, E36 323i coupe, E30 316 saloon, E30 318 saloon, E46 330ci Sport Conv
