Hi,
Who is interested in having a Dyno test done?
There is a company near Lakeside, Essex which has the equipement and I know other car clubs are using them.

The price Nissan 200sx club (SXOC) has negotiated is £35+VAT per car.
If enough of us go the price should be similar.

I have some more information for proposed Dyno Day

The date is Saturday, 10th of December 2005.
Price: £35 + VAT per car
Limit: 10 Cars.

Dyno testing is done in sound-proofed wind tunnel. Windeband Lambda reading can be taken at the time to identify any performance flat-spots.
Car is held for 3-4 seconds every 500RPM throughout the rev range while a reading is taken. This particular dyno is hub-mounted so there is absolutely no power loss due to wheeel spin - especially important for cars outputting 300bhp and more.

To guarantee the day we need to pay a deposit of £10 per car.

Is there anyone from Regional Club Office willing to collect the money? Let me know and I can pass on contact details of the person I've been dealing with at TDI.

We need to get back to TDI by Friday to confirm if we are going ahead with this!

Unfortunately not enough people have expressed interst in this event so it's been cancelled.
Perhaps there was not enough notice - I suggest we organise Dyno Day in Feb 2006.

I'd be up for it around then as well. I'm hoping to get the car to Jayson for chipping first though.

I'll have the money about mid feb for the chip, so if the date could be set towards the end of the month then I could do my runs with the new setup.
