I'm easy, don't know abot the rest, thought of the rest area near 5ways roundabout as snack hut there and fairly large space for cars as the meets on a saturday, the car parks in Thetford or Bury would be a bit full, due to christmas shopping etc

Will be going to Norwich, round ring road and down A11 as its the easiest route for me and ady

I was thinking maybe the Tesco at Kilverstone just north east of
Thetford. I figure it's far enough in advance for people to say yay or
nay.
Never occurred to me that people might be Chrimbo shopping in November.

Another thought:-
How about the gravel car park just outside Thetford on the right hand side, on the A134 towards bury st edmunds just up from Murco garage

Seriously , anywhere in the Bury / Thetford Area will be fine, I am only pulling yer legs.
(It just makes me cry at 101 per litre and 21 to the gallon) LOL

Sounds good to me, I used to drive past it everyday on the way to work. Often had something burnt out in it!

I put Optimax in mine, and there are only a couple of Shell stations in the area - I have to drive twelve miles to the nearest....!!!!
I know - daft - but I am convinced she runs sweeter on it, and the M5 pinks like hell on standard Unleaded.
i am trying to visualise the Murco Garage - Is that the one with the car sales thing on the forcourt - I normally travel up the 1088 to Thetford.

I think it's now a JET. Just on the edge of Thetford on the A134 Bury Rd. Where the D of Thetford is on the map above.
I put Optimax in mine as well, I'm sure she prefers it. I was putting
Sainsburys super in at about 93p but don't mind spending the extra at
Shell, still generally less than a pound. If I drive sensibly I can get 30mpg but there's no fun in that!

Its looking good, the car should be done by middle of next week.
So thats the car sorted, just hope I dont have to work that day!!!

I think optimax round Norwich is about 95.9 so I'm glad I don't use it - if I was still working at Fakenham it would cost me nearly �70 a week on petrol - ouch!!

I try not to think about it too much, I just turn me music off and listen to her scream, makes it all worth it...!!!
Anyways - so are we sorted 14.00 hrs on the gravel patch, by the JET station on the A134 Bury Road at Thetford ..????
