Anyone up for BMW, Porche show at Tatton Park this September 7th??  I think this will be it's 5th year, and the BMW Car Club NW run it in conjuction with the Porche Club NW, so as you can imagine it's quite a turnout!

Get those BM's waxed and head for the show, it's a good day out.

I'll be going, have been there before and yes it's a good day, my mate takes his 911.

Is there a BMW stand and do you need a membership of any kind? I can remember some kind of fenced (roped) off areas last time for any official club members entering competitions, although most of the parking seemed to be in the main show areas for BMW and PORSCHE owners.

If not maybe we could organise a collection of our own. (mancrover, rutter etc.) Anyone interested in this option?

No, you don't need to be a member to get in, however you do if you want to enter any car related compitions.  I hope to enter both my 318iS e30 and 528i e28 for the Show and Shine, but this is just for fun.  A friend of mine from Williams BMW Manchester is going in his 325i SE, together with his mate in his 325i SE, both e30's.

Should be a good turn out this year, this web site should help to advertise it in the North West, that way we should get more visiters than ever!

Parking is avaliable next to the competition area, this itself then becomes a veiwing area because there's so many nice BMW's to look at!

Is anyone from the North West going to Goodwood in July for the Festival of Speed?

Hi Jim, I'm not too sure about the beer tent, however I'll have a chat with the club chairman as he only live 2 mins away from me, and I'll ask.  If there is'nt then maybe we could organise something...!

I'll post some more info as I get it...what was on at Tatton earlier this year, was it a classic car meet?

sounds like a good idea - will keep looking at this thread over the summer for developments.
Police arrested two kids yesterday, one was drinking battery acid, the
other was eating fireworks. They charged one and let the other one off.
