Jesss...crumbs!

That must be the Evo4....ultra light weight, and it has been homologated allowing the seats to be fitted lower helping to lower the centre of gravity. This model also is not fitted with a reverse gear further saving weight, as the holes in the floor allow you to push yourself back out of the tyres/kitty litter.

Whoever designed that Evo obviously is in for a major payrise!

If you yhink that was bad, you should have seen my old B reg E30 316 - recovered from being submerged in a flood and left for several months to rot, the paint was holding the rust together. One good kick on the floor and you could have powered it like a flintstones car..

I am reliably informed by Alan F that it looked like this after the rust was fixed.

lol, I won't be doing any more corrosion hunting

Hi Dave,  hopefully going to fit the pump tonight (if the weather holds).  I was going to fit it last night, but the torrential rain put me off somewhat (seeing as the car is outside on the drive!).

list for tonight includes:

fit pump
refit plastic sill covers
investigate n/s mainbeam not working
empty all the water out of passenger footwell !! (it seems that the recent weather has enlightened me to another job that needs looing at!)

if all goes well tonight then I'll book it in for it's ticket on saturday morning.

Although nervous, I'm actually getting a bit excited.  Don't know if I'll be able to watch it go through the ticket though.

BTW if you're bored later feel free to give me a bell and you can come see how its coming on.

Cheers John

Lancastrian, that looks mighty nice, although it will end up with all the corrosion back again next to that see view!

Yes, I read the story of this car on S14.net, apparently the car had quite low mileage but had been stood a long while with water in the footwells, good as new now though!
