It's a bit late to ask this now as he's bought it (as I told him too) but he's wondering if the price is too high plus it's through fleabay

Sorry, I wrote that kinda back to front , what I meant to say was my mate bought last night and he asked me to ask here what you thought about it.

What I meant was, it's a bit late to ask now that he's bought it, as that's what I said to him.

"....I BOUGHT IT LAST YEAR TO DO WEDDINGS AS IT WAS THAT NICE BUT NOW I HAVE NOT GOT TIME TO DO THE WEDDINGS AS I GOT OFFERED I JOB I COULD NOT REFUSE..."

Is that a euphemism for "this is a car I shouldn't have bought"?

Nothing to do with me I just put it on here for him that's all, he's allway's wanted an E32 and now all he has to do is obviously pay you and pick it up.

He just wondered if he'd payed to much but that's why I say to him it's a bit late now since youv'e won it. What can you tell me to tell him, although he's probably emailed you by now.

If it is as good as the seller says then it's not a bad price. In this sort of price range you could pay £1000, & find out it's a clapped out banger or then again pay £300 & find you have a bargain of a life time.

If the seller has misdescribed it or failed to mention a serious flaw (like a blown engine), the just walk away you dont need to buy.

A final thought if he runs it for 12 months with no hassles he has paid about £50 a month for his car. Not bad really.

Price is about right. 735 runners of that age are going from £100 to £1500.

Good body/Good Engine/Well serviced/High Milage/No leather(Should be able to get this cheap on ebay )  £650 should make both buyer and seller fairly happy.

I'm surprised it wasn't descibed as 'Rare Velour Upholstery' ModeL

I'd suggest that 735s are worth nothing to £1,000.  Anything over a grand would have to be exceptional condition / restored / very low miles.  But a decent one is a real bargain for the money.

£650 isn't bad considering it appears in good condition and there's no mot worries for 7 months.  The engine is only half way through its life.  Personnally I wouldn't have given more than £250 considering the miles, colour and cloth seats.

If if can achieve 36mpg on a run I'd have paid more than that for it...  It must have been a very long downhill run   If your mate hasn't collected it yet and wants to change his mind, there's an easy get out clause because it's been misrepresented.  The best I've ever heard of with a 735 is about 32mpg.
