Folks

I think I need to see a doctor because I am exhibiting some unusual symptoms.  Today I found myself admiring an E90.  It wasn't even the new sport.  It was just a plain ole 320d in Metallic Silver with 16" wheels.  I had no alcohol taken at the time.  My wife was in the car with me at the time, and her opinion of it hadn't changed i.e. "it still looks like a brick to me"

I found this very distressing.  Earlier on this year I test drove the E90 a number of times and tried really hard to like it.  But in the end I just thought it looked too boring, badly designed and when my wife commented that the back looked just like Peters car (the last model primera) that was the last straw.  So I bought an E46 M3 instead.

I also thought that maybe the sport kit would save it (in the same way it transforms the E60) but no, this was just a plain, standard E90.

What do you think could be wrong with me?  Are there pills I can take?

Mick

You're not alone mate....plenty of weirdos about lol.

Seriously, the car cosmetically looks pretty plain...as does a basic e46 when compared to m3's in its current form.

However add-ons like ac schnitz, breyton, hamann and alpina totally transform the blandness.

Havent seen pics of the e90 m3 yet...but im sure it wont look anything as plain as the saloon

Pity there's no bodykit for the interior.

I've grown to like the exterior of the new 5, but the new interiors/dashboards are so bad that alone would stop me from buying a new style BM.

I'm sure I will eat my words one day.

May I recommend a good psychologist in the Dublin area?

I know what Mick means, the first time I saw the E90 i was a little disappointed, but the more I see it the better it seems to get and the colours that are now becoming avaialbe on them are helping.

As I hoped though being a touring owner the E91 (touring) is a fantastic looking car the lines seem to just fit right with the estate back.

So in summary I'm becoming a fan of the latest BMW 3 range
