I always wonder where all this 60kmiles engines are coming from? That is an average of 4000miles/year. But good to see the price. My engine will be for sale in a few weeks.

Just getting the last bits together. Block needs still boring as I haven't picked the pistons up yet. Also cams haven't been ordered. But the rest is fine. Cleaned most of the bits and will get them over to Nigel maybe Saturday

They're not cheap, our engines, are they?

How much do you think you will want for your engine, Uwe? What cams are you going for? Which exhaust? What about Motec!!!?????

John, I think the stock exhaust is good enough for me. Motec isn't on my list at all. I am not trying to break the dyno high score at Bexley's. I just want to put an engine together. going to 2.5 was a logical decision (thanks to Nigel). If you work out the bits which need replacing, it doesn't make a big difference to go for 2.5. the crank is they only "extra" item. But it comes complete with all the bearing shells, so this saves a few pounds in the end. I don't know how much my engine will be (why u asking? need a proper replacement for your EVO3 I'll make you a special deal)

cats will go of course. I don't understand that Sport EVO owners do ditch the cat and spend money. The E3 is a metal cat and doesn't take much (or nothing at all) bhp away. If you have a working EVO3 cat, send it to Germany! They guy's over there are really keen for it as they need to have the cat working for cheaper road tax

My cat went years ago. It's Milltek all the way for me.
Are you just cutting the cats out and replacing them with a straight pipe? My Sport had this solution before I fitted the new Milltek exhaust. It was pretty noisy.
