Got a bet going at the moment.... (oh oh)

Does the good 'ole US of A use miles (as in mph) or kilometres (as in kmh / kph) in regard to car speedos and limits ?

USA use miles, imported vehicles from the US have the 55 on the speedo in red (well an old mates motorbike he imported had this), and Canada does use metric. An American comedian mentioned this when he crossed the border and the speed limit signs went up (or so he thought )

The only time you are likely to find metric speedometers in US cars is if those cars were built for use in Europe by service personnel.

Two of mine (both Pontiacs) had metric and one (Buick) had imperial instrumentation.
