Hi Guys,

A big, big thank you to all that turned up today! Some absolutely lovely classic and new BMW's. Hope to keep the good work up and perhaps get a nice big meet organised for the whole of the east anglia region in late spring/early summer. Here are pics as promised:-

Once again it was a pleasure to see such a wide selection over some 32 years and all very well looked after.  May we have more meets like this one.

It was great to meet everyone today. I'll definitely try to get to all the meetings from now on. Hope the weather is as nice next time.

What a great selection of cars eh?

Hey all

Just a quick note of thanks to you all for coming today, and making it a really great turnout....!!!

This has given me, and - as I can see already - Paul the inspiration to make the next one even bigger & better.

I will definately try and get us another mention in the Magazine, as I feel that 17 cars is more than worthy of it.

Gaz & I will get our thinking caps on as to whether we can get something going for a meeting at Rockingham - but as mentioned to some of you, we are not sure what our involvement will be this year yet, if not we will most probably be involved in some other form of racing we can all go to.

Catch up with you all on here soon.

Mand

Nice little blat with you today just outside Stowmarket, wish I had taken the Porka out of 6th gear as you kept a little too close due to the turbo lag.

I thought with 525bhp I would be safe in top gear, but after owning 5 E46 M3's and 1 Csl I should know that the M3 is no slouch, I was just being lazy not changing down.

Nice little play though

Glad you all had a good time, typical that I ended up being unable to make it after making it to a wet and windy one last time!!

Still, roll on the next one!

Joe,

Scot has now had an e36 328 crank in the lump and had it rolling roaded at bexley - now 260bhp!! It was nice to see it in the flesh though and the engine bay looked good

Great turnout from the disbanded BMW drivers club, of which I was a member, and hopefully I may be able to try and get a few surprise cars to come down as well. Will keep you all posted and there is the other thread about organising a combined meet for late spring/early summer. All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Paul

Look what happened to our cars that got washed - were filthy after 50 miles. Hopefully the weather will get better

Hi All

Could someone please email me some photo's from this event, as I feel that 17 cars is certainly worth a write up in the magazine.

Thanks
