I bought a Scangenie about 6 weeks ago and have been very pleased with it. It picked up three fault codes on the first scan which allowed me to sort out the problems (minor issues) and then erase the codes. The unit is well made and packaged and has a useful software programme for identifying what the fault codes relate to. Good value for money.

I dont know how many of you noticed this ad in the current club mag but it looks a good buy. The device is a small compact fault code scanner that also resets service lights etc. For £99.95 + P&P it looks good value for anyone who does thier own servicing. http://www.scangenie.co.uk is the website address. Check it out, It does most models of BMW up to MY2001. I have noting to do with scan genie just thought it is a good buy for DIY mechanics.
