Slightly off topic but I just clicked on your father ted link to discover that they are looking to make an american version of Father Ted-Oh dear-do you think it may lose some of its charm ?-Leslie Nielsen as Ted & Ross out of friends as dougal maybe.

I look forward to it with a degree of trepidation !

I think the idea has been suspended for quite some time....

PMSL Ivan,  just did a quick google search to see where it was and came back with this:

Doggers and dogging in Essex
Halfway House on A127 between Romford and Southend. A fantastic dogging site,
with action all the time. Going towards Southend from Romford, approx 10m on ...

Trust you to go and look for that!

Happy New Year all!

Sounds like a fun afternoon out, will try and make it along.

I'm due to go to the Autosport Show in Birmingham with M3MAD at the weekend but not sure which day.

If we go up there on the Saturday, then hopefully we'll see you at the Halfway House on Sunday.

Paul,

Don't need the wheels now as I've bit the bullet and bought a set of 18" M-Parallels. Will be down for the March meet

Carlos Fandango-style wheelarch extensions

I want to know where I can get these from & do you have any pics ?

Seriously, though, you might be able to adapt something from a Zeemax wide-body kit....

No!!!! You drive an E36 3-Series, which has a completely different wheel offset to the E28/E24 5-Series.

If you tried to fit 5-Series wheels to your Three, you might need Carlos Fandango-style wheelarch extensions and might also find that your suspension doesn't last long!!

its really turbines he wants but the basic wheel is the same & its only the covers that need changing.

maybe he would consider throwing stars until turbines come along if they are good condition & the price is right.

Did he get in touch with you directly at all ?
