Try Windsor Garage in Mannamead. 01752 228538. They do all the work on my M5. Can't fault them. Or you could try Phil Davies in Stonehouse, not sure of his tel no. but he always advertises in the Plymouth Herald. He did a lot of work on my 318is when I moved down here. He is next door to German french and Swedish (car parts not massage parlour)

Thanks Johnny for the numbers, I think I know where Phil Davies is, near Emma Place if I'm not mistaken...

Not heard of Windsor Garage but may give them a go. Is it worth mentioning your name? Or is that out of order? I'm just looking for someone who knows what they are doing and who won't rip me off. (Have had bad experiences with garages in the past!)

Thanks for your advice.
Have you joined the BMW club and if so, have you found it worth while? I want to join but money is tight at the moment so have to be careful and sure if you see what I mean.

Regards

Abs, you can mention my name if you like but I think they'll remember the car more than me!!!

I've been a member of the club for a few years now, I try and visit most of the shows and meets but as you know Plymouth is so far from everywhere else.  Ocean BMW at Marsh Mills will give a 10% discount on parts to club members so you could get the cost of membership back over a year.
