If you have fitted what you have been told is 'like for like' and they sit lower, I would be inclined to question them. Bilsteins are reasonable quality but it sounds like the springs are not man enough for the job as they are not taking the weight of the vehicle proberly, having said that, did you check the springs (old and new) next to each other and if so, were they the same length? If they were, then the new springs are weaker than the old, if the new ones are shorter, then straight away, there is your problem. Either way, it sounds like the ones you've been supplied are not the correct ones for the car and I would get euro car parts to double check them! If they are wrong, you should get your money back or a free replacement.
Good luck
Mike

That all depends on your preference. If your wheels rub on your arches then you need to get it sorted, that isn't right, apart from that though, if you are happy with ride quality and handling then I see no real problem.

The replacement parts I fitted were from Euro Car Parts
The shocks are Bilstein std and the springs are std.
It maybe that the make I purchased are not that good! although I was told that Bilstein shocks are as used by BMW?

Did you fit the same type that came off i.e., are they man enought for the job and is the ride height equal on both sides?

I'm having trouble with the ride height on the rear of my car. I changed the shocks and springs about 24 months ago but of late I notice the rear wheel arch is below the tyre height, any suggestions.
