I have posted my e30 Baur for sale on Practical Classics Web site and have been hit by 8 scammers. here is 5 of them I erased the others before I thought it through....

be warned! they offer to buy your car without seeing it, then offer to pay by cheque for thousands over the asking then say you forward the money on to the shipper by western union. I know it seems silly but a freind of mine actualy did it 2 years ago when selling his e21 alpina. The cheque cleared and all and then after the car was gone the bank declared the cheque a fake and made my mate pay the bank back! Can you beleive it paying for your own car! The same type of scammers have tried to hit me with my landrover a few months back but I was forwarned. It should be obvious, if somebody wants your car they want to know more about it than whether or not your happy to deal with their shipper!
P.S does anybody else wonder why the majority of these guys are using yahoo?
