You might get off on a technicality, like he did at first, cos the Policeman did something like ticked the wrong box or filled in his date of birth with the year being the current one like, 28/07/06. Not my date of birth but my next birthday!
I'm sure I heard a story that someone I knew got off from a speeding ticket as PC Brain of Britain filled in the form with the wrong dates!

Surely this guy got off very lightly. I was under the impression that if you go over a ton you get six months ban instantly. So for over 150 and on a mobile phone I would have thought a more lenghty ban and greater fine.
Having said that I am sure there was a plumber behind him in an Astramax flashing to get by him to get to a job. Case is in court next week I believe.

Sad he got nicked (eventually)....the road conditions were quiet and safe as the case heard.No excuse however!! Good plug for BMW though. I heard it through the grapevine of a crazy guy who also drove an M3 fast on the M6 toll....Fantastic but seriously careless. Not me John
