Hi Martin,

I've had a look at the handbook and I dont think the reader I have can tell which wheel sensor is faulty- sorry.

Hi Dave

I live in Penarth & have a problem with the ABS/ASC censors on my 98 325i touring.

Just wondered if your reader can determing which wheel censor needs replacing as I do not fancy going to the stealers.

Martin

Yea, it comes with a list of codes and what they relate to. They reset the airbag light in an e39 that comes on all the time- sometimes just because you move the seat!! It costs £40 for a dealer to reset it.

Fair play.. looks pretty good. Presumably it provides you with a list of fault codes to crosscheck?

They're ahrdware. The SRS/Airbag one is this one: http://www.peakeresearch.com/srstool.htm

and the Engine fault code one is a differnet make but similiar idea.

I've just bought a fault code reader/light reset tool and an Airbag fault reader and reset tool. If anyone wants to use them, let me know and you can slip me a few £'s to help cover my costs. I'm based in Cardiff.

Thanks,

Dave
