Lot of stories flying about (alledgedly)

Never had any success at M-Tek.  Not interested in older cars and pretty quick to let you know.

I've just had a big serivce done at M-Tek and thought they were pretty good, good price and the standard of work was good. They were interested in working on my 16 year old 525i

Check your keys for copies. Apparently the was an alledged rumour that when nice bm's went there they were able to copy alarm fobs and keys too.

Think I heard this story from a scrap yard a good while ago but the garage could be reputable, I dunno

He was trying to sell an E30 M3 with 528 wheels for ages and ages. I went to see it before I bought my E36 but not impressed. Good job too as the wife would have killed me for buying a left hooker.

I'll stick with BM motors as long as he's willing to fix my old banger (no need for rude jokes.)

Alan.

I bought the M3 cheap. had it serviced and while it was being service someone liked it and bought it off me for £800 more than i paid for it and i got it cheapish. I also bought the wheels from him at a later date. They were refurbed. They now reside on an M6!

I know it wasn't in great knick but good enough for a track car. The guy i sold it to spent a few quid on it tidying it up and look very smart when he had finished.

These were the rims after refurb

And on my other, now sold, M3

i bought a 325i sport diff and box from mtek ages ago but they messed me about for nearly a month telling me they were going to take them off and when i got there they were still on the car i went over there about 6 or 7 times to find they hadnt been removed but it worked out ok in the end so i would say they aint the most reliable bunch and a little expensive sometimes

Alan, the wheels were refurbed by a guy north of perth, but he was a PITA as i had given him 2 sets of rims and took weeks.

Unfortunately the M3 has been sold and is being used as a daily driver.

The wheels were awesome looking as well.

I have another set om my 525tds touring, but they have not been refurbed.

i've got smoked hella headlamps for it, but have not managed to get round to putting them on.
